April 15, 2025, San Diego, CA - Garcia Hong Law is proud to announce that attorney Mark Simpliciano has been selected as the recipient of the San Diego County Bar Association’s (SDCBA) New Lawyer Award, which honors a legal professional in their first seven years of practice who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to the profession and the community.

A 2019 graduate of California Western School of Law, Mark has quickly distinguished himself through leadership, service, and dedication to the development of the legal community in San Diego. He is actively involved in multiple bar organizations, including the Tom Homann LGBTQ+ Law Association (THLA) where he currently serves as Vice President, and the Filipino American Lawyers of San Diego (FALSD) where he is a member of the Board of Directors.

At Garcia Hong Law, Mark is known not only for his legal skill and collaborative approach but also for mentoring law students, supporting educational initiatives, and contributing to events that promote diversity and professionalism in the legal field. In 2024, California Western School of Law honored Mark with its Rising Star Award, recognizing his early career achievements and service to the community.
