March 13, 2024 - San Diego, California. A San Diego teen Keira Doshi's life was changed forever when she lost three fingers in a jet ski accident at Mission Bay Aquatic Center two summers ago. Keira was a counselor in training at the time.
Keira, who was on her way to college, was a life-long musician -- a viola player since the age of 8. She is now learning how to play the viola with the opposite side.
Garcia Hong Law's Christina Bernstein joins forces with Singleton Schreiber, a local San Diego law firm, to sue Mission Bay Aquatic Center for their negligence and lack of training. The 19-year old jet ski operator had only 4 hours of training and Keira had no training from Mission Bay Aquatic Center.
Attorney Brett Schreiber said, "This was a situation where the stage was set. And it was set by the administration and the principles of Mission Bay Aquatic."
NBC San Diego Channel 7 covered Keira's story at bit.ly/MBAquaticCenter.
